Apartment block Promenade (Utoring). In the resort, 500 m from the centre, in a quiet position. In the house: lounge, table tennis, kiosk, lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine (for shared use). Motor access to the house (mountain road). In Winter: please take snow chains, 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking (limited number of spaces, extra) at the house, communal covered parking (extra), public car park at 800 m. Shop 500 m, bus stop Arosa, Rathaus 400 m, railway station Arosa 1 km. Skisport facilities, slopes, sled run 500 m. Home delivery service possible. Beautiful hiking trails right in front of the house. Attention: limited number of parking spaces! Parking space or garage space must be reserved in advance with the key holder: parking space CHF 5.00/day, covered parking space CHF 8.00/day, garage space CHF 16.00/day, payable on site. Lounge with internet connection (WiFi). Ski passes are available at reception.

We stayed in a very comfortable, perfectly maintained apartment with a balcony facing east (giving a stunning view of the mountains, superb sunrises and a sunny breakfast point). The booking process through Interhome was very easy and their staff helpful when I called. Arrival check-in was smooth and efficiently handled. The gentleman doing this was very helpful and informative about both the apartment and the town. The apartment is well equipped for cooking, relaxing and sleeping, with plenty of storage, excellent decor and warm. The drop down beds are fine, you could store them away each day but we left them down all week and still had plenty of space. We used the local late opening Co-op (not open on Sundays) at 'Central' bus stop, returning via next stop at Rathaus and a 10 minute zig zag path, so it was easy to keep stocked up. Arriving on Saturday you have until 7pm! From the door you can be hiking through the forest in just a few minutes on graded trails above the town. A free bus every 10 minutes takes you into the main part of town (Co-op, cable car, station, etc) or up to the gondolas (walk down the zig zag path, or an alternative sloping road, to the main road). This is a great local system which combined with a ski pass (or hikers pass) means you can go up and down the mountains from different points in the town very easily. We took a 6 day hikers pass for 120 CHF each, and covered all parts of the town/snow slopes via excellent paths and the lifts network, with good huts for eating. As non skiers, but walkers, we found Arosa to be ideal, with great marked winter paths (many of them with gentle gradients) from the middle/upper lift stations also being used by dog walkers, baby buggies and kids on sledges. You dont need to be a skier here to get out on the slopes! In summary, a nice apartment with pleasant and helpful front-desk support, well located just outside the main centre, but with easy connections via the frequent free bus and a great balcony view. The whole area has a calm family orientated feel, in beautiful surroundings. We would certainly return here.
Die Ferienresidenz des Uto Ring an der oberen Promenade in Arosa ist sauber und gepflegt. Besonders die Lage mit der Aussicht auf Arosa und den umliegenden Bergen hat uns sehr gefallen. In der Zeit als wir dort waren, waren sehr viel Leute in Arosa, es war eng auf Strasse und Trottoir. Auch Lifte und und die Weisshornbahn waren seht frequentiert. Wir denken, dass einmal im Sommer wieder Buchen werden. Dieses Jahr haben wir aber andere Pläne.
